We have to check the condition of the crane before testing:

• Check winch, brake, gear-box, sheave and block, wire rope, turnbuckle, shackle…
• Check the power, limit switches, electronic and hydraulic overload protection equipment.

Load test deck crane equipments:

• Water weight bag, fire hose, water pump and loadcell
• Hanging water weight bag into Deck crane / Derrick crane
• Moving Deck crane / Derrick crane to the position
• Pumping water into water weight bag
• Lifting the water bag up and down, Rotating crane to the right and the left
• Testing brake suddenly

Testing overload :

• Keep crane at position
• Continue pumping water into the water weight bag up to the load test weight
• Braking and hanging for 5-10 minutes
• Lifting the water bag up and down, Rotating crane to the right and the left

Note: All step of load test deck crane should be carried out carefully with low speed.
